Scott and Christina Cossairt started Oregon Mushrooms in 1999 with a simple routine: hunting wild morels in the Oregon woods, drying them, and selling them online.
As our reputation for quality grew, our customers started asking for more. They wanted fresh chanterelles, matsutake, lobster mushrooms, and porcini. To meet that demand, we expanded our sourcing and built this store. Today, decades later, we supply home cooks and wholesale chefs with premium ingredients—without ever losing our roots.
